Crunchy Mango Diamond Cuts


~ Mamidi Pandu Limkilu ~
Ingredients :

Maida : 1 1/4 cups
Mango Pulp : 1/2 cup
Sugar : 3 to 4 tbsp
Poppy Seeds : 1 tsp
Ghee : 1 tbsp
Oil for deep frying

Method :

Grind the sugar into a fine powder and set aside. Combine the mango puree, powdered sugar, poppy seeds, maida flour and a table spoon of melted ghee and make a soft dough. Divide the dough into small balls and roll the dough ball into a little thick round disc. Cut them into small pieces and deep fry them in hot oil on a low flame till golden brown color. Remove from the oil and store in a airtight jar.
