Sweet Corn Paratha / Roti Recipe

Ingredients :

Sweet Corn : 1 cup
Wheat Flour : 1.5 cups
Onion : 1 medium sized
Green Chillies : 4 - 5
Cumin Seeds : 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder : 1/8 tsp
Finely chopped cilantro : 2 sprigs
Salt to taste
Oil


Method :

Peel and chop the onion into small pieces and set aside. Grind the corn, green chillies and cumin seeds into a paste and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped onion, corn paste, wheat flour, salt, cilantro and turmeric and knead into a smooth dough. Divide the dough into small balls and set aside. Roll out each ball into a circle, using wheat flour for dusting. Put the roti on a hot pan, cook for a minute. Add a little oil around the edges, turn and fry the other side. Take it out and serve hot with dal, curry or raita
